Okay... first off, I am terrible at blog writing. I have a million ideas about things I would want to say... but then get overwhelmed with other things. Oh well. Let's see if we can get at least a blog post a week for the next month.
Good news! I was asked to be the featured artist for Stage 4 magazine. It is a magazine dedicated to those who are fighting or who have fought cancer. There is a wonderful little blurb about yours truly and a sharing of my artwork. Nice. A little recognition is always appreciated! I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in August of 2012 - and was in remission a year later. It was one of the hardest years of my life, but I learned a ton from it... and wouldn't be who I am now had it not happened.
